Low Pass Filter Model LPF-100 R3A is the low pass filter used on the HF SuperPacker Pro 100W Amp Version 2 and can also be used on other wide band amplifiers needing low pass filters.

Six relay selectable low pass filters for the HF Bands 160 - 10 Meters. The six filters cover 10 bands. For example, the 30-20M filter uses 3 pi-sections to provide good roll-off of the 20 meter 2nd harmonic while operating on 30 meters. Most of the filters are elliptic, aiding attenuation of specific harmonics but not needed on 160 and 80 meters since each covers only one band. Attenuation in the stop band exceeds -40 dB.

Rated for 100W 14 Toroid inductors (T50 style) and 29 quality dip mica 500V capacitors

Construction time is approximately 2 evenings.This project requires a medium skill level to complete it sucessfully. Builders require soldering, hand tool, basic electronics and component identification skills. You are required to wind the toroids according to the instructions and simplified winding diagrams.

This is the 10‐Band Filter Module for the HF Packer Amp Model V4.

Description:

The design features a compact 4-layer circuit board with relay selection of the filter input controlled by a panel mount miniature rotary switch attached to the Filter Module circuit board. Using input relay switching provides greater isolation and performance with less dense component assembly. The 6 filters cover 10 bands. For example, the 30-20M filter uses 3 pi-sections to provide good roll-off of the 20 meter 2nd harmonic while operating on 30 meters. Most of the filters are elliptic, aiding attenuation of specific harmonics but not needed on 160 and 80 meters since each covers only one band.  The kit includes all the parts and circuit board.  The comprehensive download construction manual guides the builder through each step of assembly. The instructions for winding inductors include a unique clock face chart to show wire spacing information.  Guided assembly steps minimize assembly error.
